Central Election Commission and Defence Ministry can secure the
possibility of voting for our military in the ATO zone. Chairperson of the
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov stressed this in the interview to
“TSN” programme (“1+1”) on Tuesday.

“If desired, Central Election Commission jointly with leadership of military department can find a format how to do that,” he said, noting that at present “a great number of military men defend the country beyond the military units, and this issue should be settled legislatively.”
At the same time, Oleksandr Turchynov has criticized arguments of the factions that did not vote for the respective bill. “Try to go to the ATO zone and dictate the soldiers for whom to vote – it is impossible,” he claimed.
